One game, two ways to play
$€X City is the first game in our collection and immediately sets the tone for what you can expect from us. Our concept is simple: one game, two playstyles.
Each game features both a family version and a spicy version, allowing players to choose for themselves just how lighthearted, playful, or challenging they want the game to be. This dual playstyle serves as the common thread running through our games: accessible to everyone, with the flexibility to adapt the game to the mood of the moment.
So, with $€X City, you essentially get two gaming experiences in one box.
$€X City is a social card game centered around interaction, humor, and surprising conversations. It brings people together, creating spontaneous moments, unexpected stories, and plenty of laughter around the table.
- Game Preparation
Lay the cards out on the table and ensure that everyone is seated comfortably around it. The players decide together whether they want to play the game in the red (spicy) or black (family) version. Next, shuffle the cards thoroughly and place the deck in the center of the table. - Start of the game
A player starts and takes the top card from the stack. The card is read aloud so that everyone knows what the question or task is. - The Course of a Turn
During their turn, a player draws a card and carries out what is written on it. This could involve, for example: answering a question, completing a task, or creating a situation that involves other players.
After the turn, the game continues to the next player, who draws another card.
The Cards
The cards form the heart of the game. They spark conversations, surprising moments, and playful challenges.
Some cards bring up funny memories, while others create unexpected situations or small tasks that change the group dynamic.
Because every player reacts differently and every group has its own atmosphere, every gaming session unfolds differently.
The atmosphere of the game
$€X City isn't about winning or losing. The game is about interaction, spontaneity, and fun.
Players decide for themselves how far they wish to go with the tasks or questions. The game can remain lighthearted and relaxed, or take a more playful and challenging turn, depending on the group.
When does the game end?
$€X City has no fixed endpoint. The game can be played for as long as the players wish.
Many groups play until a large portion of the cards have been used, while others stop when they feel that the perfect moment has been reached.
